Self-care is important to our mental and overall health. It is any activity that we engage in to take care of our personal needs and well-being. It is vital to our mental and overall health and, most of the times it is something that we often neglect to practice.

In the current times the most important of all self care activities are physical distancing, hand washing and taking care of respiratory hygiene.

It causes less stress leading to a better immune system. It helps one to be less critical of oneself. This can go a long way towards enhanced self-esteem.
