Megmeet Electrical India Private Limited and Smile Foundation have partnered to strengthen access to primary healthcare and promote quality interventions in schools for children and communities in underserved areas.
Through this CSR partnership, Megmeet supported Smile Foundation’s efforts to address critical gaps in healthcare access through the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) initiative, bringing essential primary healthcare services closer to communities with limited access to formal healthcare facilities.
The MMU outreach focuses on preventive and primary healthcare, including medical consultations, basic diagnostics, medicines, health awareness and counselling. By taking healthcare services directly into communities, the initiative helps enable timely care for families who may otherwise face barriers related to distance, cost or accessibility.
The partnership also supported quality interventions in schools, recognising that a child’s ability to learn and thrive is closely linked to their health, wellbeing and learning environment. Through school-based interventions, children are supported with opportunities that contribute to improved learning and overall development.
Together, Megmeet and Smile Foundation are working to strengthen two essential foundations of community wellbeing—access to healthcare and quality education. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating healthier communities and enabling children to learn, grow and participate more fully in their futures.
