UGRO Capital has joined hands with Smile Foundation by supporting Skill Training in Healthcare for Underprivileged Youth in Mumbai location. The project has started from January 2021 and it will target 140 underprivileged youth, primarily women, in the age group of 18-35 years. The project will train 35 beneficiaries per term. It seeks to enhance skills and provide employment opportunities for underprivileged youth in the formal sector.
Some of the major objects of the projects are: (a) To provide high quality skills training in healthcare for employability as General Duty/Bedside Assistants, Patient Care Executive, Front Desk Executive, Tele Marketing and other allied services required in health care set up; (b) To assist successful trainees to obtain formal jobs in the healthcare sector; (c) To improve the financial situation of underprivileged youth and their families; and (d) To enhance life skills for underprivileged youth to help them lead a purposeful and dignified life.

Mission Education is a national level program of Smile Foundation, which aims to provide basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. Since its inception in 2002, more than 200,000 underprivileged children have directly benefitted from the Mission Education programme of Smile Foundation.
