In an effort to enhance the accessibility of quality primary healthcare services in aspirational districts, Smile Foundation, in partnership with Philips India, has deployed four Mobile Telemedicine Units. These units have been operating for the past five years in the aspirational districts of Virudhunagar in Tamil Nadu, Gadag in Karnataka, Mewat in Haryana, and Shirur block of Pune (Rural).
The Mobile Telemedicine Units are dedicated to providing essential primary healthcare services to urban slums and rural villages in these areas. By leveraging the power of technology, these units bridge the gap between healthcare providers and underserved communities, ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to those who need it the most.
Through this impactful collaboration, Smile Foundation and Philips India are making significant strides in improving the healthcare landscape of aspirational districts. By bringing primary healthcare services directly to the doorsteps of urban slums and rural villages, they are making a positive difference in the lives of countless individuals and communities, ultimately contributing to the overall well-being and development of these regions.
