Job Summary
Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for The Every Child in School (ECiS) and Social Venture Philanthropy (SVP)’s project coordination, identification of new potential NGOs, capacity building of NGOs, effective project delivery and compliance, data management and documentation, budget preparation, implementation of strategies for strengthening partnerships based on the assessment.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination:
- Oversee and manage the ECiS project across 44 or more Mission Education centers in 19 states and 2 Union Territories as per the project requirement and need.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
- Coordinate with local NGO partners to ensure effective project delivery and compliance.
2. Capacity building of NGO Partners:
- Training need identification for partners’ capacity building on project development, quality intervention and fund
- Designing sustainability plan for the NGO partners
3. Empanelment of New NGO Partners:
- Identify and evaluate potential new NGO partners for the ECiS as well as other SVP
- Lead the empanelment process, including due diligence and agreement finalization with audit and governance team.
4. Partner Landscaping and Grading Exercise:
- Conduct partner landscaping and grading to assess and categorize existing NGO partners timely during the FY cycle
- Develop and implement strategies for strengthening partnerships based on the assessment.
- Share case stories amongst NGO partners and promote knowledge sharing to replicate best practices.
5. Internal Approvals and Documentation:
- Support the ME team in the preparation and procurement of internal approvals and sanction notes.
- Ensure thorough documentation and record-keeping for all project activities and approvals.
6. Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ECiS project data.
- Prepare regular reports on project progress, outcomes, and impact for internal and donor review.
7. Budget Preparation and Fund Utilization:
- Develop and manage the ECiS project budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of funds.
- Monitor expenditure against the budget and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders and donors, detailing fund utilization and financial performance.
- Any other project related requirement as deemed necessary and as per the direction of the reporting manager.
Scope:
- Ensure continuity of education and improved learning outcomes for project-supported children.
- Improve attendance and retention levels in the education program.
- Enhance active participation in classrooms.
- Improve teacher skill sets for effective teaching and learning.
- Strengthen local NGO partners and enhance their skills in fundraising and resource
- look after SVP partners over and above the ECiS project for smooth coordination and implementation of SVP projects.
Qualifications:
- Post-Graduation in Social Work, Social Science, Rural Development, or any other allied subjects.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in the education domain.
- Proven experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including NGOs, government bodies, and community organizations.
- Strong understanding of teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis.
- Experience in budget preparation, fund utilization, and financial reporting.
