Position: Cluster STEM Coordinator
Location: Telangana, Andhra Pradesh & Kerala

The Cluster In charge will lead the on-ground implementation in one state and 40 government and low-income private schools, manage the project activity and will be the central point of contact for organizational activity related to the project.
Accountabilities
• Implementation & project management including; – ground planning & delivery of the project.
• To work with 40 government and low-income private schools in project geography and execute the SHELL Module in the schools
• Completion of the project’s deliverables.
• Project management in alignment with the project implementation plan, project reporting, and documentation.
• The role holder will comply with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Functional
• Work closely with the Regional Officer and Manager to strategize to meet mission and movement goals.
• Ensure the strategic project goals are delivered in a timely and effective manner
• Maintain relationships with a network of key external stakeholders relevant to the execution of the project objectives.
• Take responsibility for managing the on-field data collection, monthly reporting process – reviewing project reports, drafting reports and assimilating information into reports in accordance with organisational requirements.
• Carry out administrative duties e.g. event management, monitoring and evaluation and any other tasks as reasonably requested.
• To facilitate the on-field activities (multiple locations) through STEM Facilitators
• Develop rapport with the Schools and implement the assigned project through them
• Develop and maintain project management approaches that facilitate open, effective and timely communication
• To build the capacities of STEM Facilitators & monitor their activities, manage the project activity within budget
• Take overall responsibility for the effective and efficient management of resources in accordance with Smile Foundation’s financial procedures and local governance regulations
• Work cooperatively with external organisations, teams within Smile Foundation to pursue project objectives and wider organisational goals, including those relating to brand, communications and resource management.
Management
• Develop and maintain project management approaches that facilitate open, effective, and timely communication
• Support the Senior Management and Project lead in ensuring the development and implementation of consistent approaches that contribute to the organisation’s strategy
Finance
• Manage the project activity within budget.
• Oversee the management of the project’s budget with forecasting in close coordination and reporting to the Senior Manager and Finance team.
• Take overall responsibility for the effective and efficient management of resources in accordance with Smile Foundation’s financial procedures and local government regulations
Organizational responsibilities
• Work cooperatively with schools, teams within Smile Foundation to pursue project objectives and wider organisational goals, including those relating to brand, communications and resource management.
• Actively participate in building our brand and maintain the integrity of our brand to support our profile, lead generation, income, and engagement.
• Actively participate and support the organization to ensure that we manage resources (financial, staff and IT) efficiently and effectively by improving the systems, reporting, and compliance.
• The role holder will be responsible for any other task assigned by the senior management within the scope of this role.
• The post holder will be required to travel to provide support or participate in Smile Foundation’s activities as and when required.
Skills and Experience
• Experienced and highly motivated individual, with a proven track record of managing projects to deliver specific outcomes.
• Experience in the design and delivery of impactful projects that have achieved change.
• Team player with excellent project management and coordination skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relationships across internal departments and teams.
• Strong communicator, and able to constructively engage external and internal stakeholders, to develop and deliver project solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, including written and spoken English and Local Language.
• Post graduate is preferable (Background of Science, Social Work, Management is desirable)
• Knowledge of education issues or experience in the field of education. (Digital education and science)
• High level of awareness of global and regional social, economic, political and environmental issues relevant to education. In-depth knowledge of teaching methods/ passion to work for change.
Qualifications
• BSC/B Tech/B.ED/BSW or any other related field with a minimum experience of 4 years
