Partnerships

TBO Tek Limited: TBO Tek joined hands with Smile Foundation to support the education of 150 underprivileged children. The purpose of the partnership is to support the education of children from marginalised communities which has aided in strengthening the existing processes and systems in the Mission Education Center, Gurugram. The partnership is ensuring children continue to learn, reduce the incidence of dropouts, increase enrolments, capacitate teaching resources and establish a strong community support network for the sustainability of the centre.

PepsiCo Foundation and Smile Foundation launched the Learn Today and Give Tomorrow programme with the aim of conducting awareness sessions on the importance of Nutrition through the engagement of their employees as well as educational institutions. The sessions covered topics such as malnutrition and dietary practices, the status of women’s health and corrective measures, nutrition and disease management, Iron deficiency and Iodine disorders, WASH & Nutrition, etc. in Delhi NCR and Sangrur, Punjab.

CDSL: CDSL through Smile Foundation’s Smile On Wheels (SOW) initiative launched operations at Jaisalmer on 16th December 2022. Through this SOW project, the border areas of Jaisalmer will be served through the SOW’s services. Each year around 15000 beneficiaries will be treated free of cost across the Outpatient Department (OPD) location of Jaisalmer.

SMT Limited: SMT Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Smile Foundation to support the operational costs of two Smile on Wheels (SOW)s to be based in Sachin, Surat and Hyderabad, Telangana. The operational phase of the projects will commence on 7th February 2023 in 40 villages across these locations.

Birlasoft: Birlasoft signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Smile Foundation for the second phase of the scholarship programme to support 375 underprivileged girls to pursue undergraduate and engineering courses. The locations for support of the beneficiaries are Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.

Brookfield Properties: Brookfield Properties through the initiative, #TreesOfHope2023 supported the young minds of this country. As a part of the initiative, Brookfield ran a book donation drive. Books collected through this initiative were donated to Smile Foundation. This initiative impacted over 5000 children of Smile Foundation across 22 centers.

Centelon: Centelon has partnered with Smile Foundation through its Employee Giving programme to support Smile Foundation’s Shiksha Na Rukhe campaign. The campaign has been supporting children from difficult circumstances to get back to school and positively restart their lives after the pandemic, COVID-19 halted their learning journey for two years.

KK Chempro: KK Chempro in partnership with Smile Foundation will provide support to at least 250 girl children’s education at a pan-India level. The programme has been designed keeping in mind the need of these children, with an approach to nurture learning abilities of these underprivileged girl children by exposing them to Smile Foundation’s researched learning tools and curriculum conforming to the national curriculum framework.

Anunta Tech: Anunta Tech is to support 150 girls in the Every Child in School (ECS) project. The grant is a combination of employee giving and matching grants from Anunta Technologies Limited. The project focuses on achieving the Fourth Goal of the Sustainable Development Goals for Improving the Quality of Education among the disadvantaged population.

M&G in association with Smile Foundation has extended support to the girls' scholarship programme by taking part in Tata Mumbai Marathon. A team of 41 volunteers ran in the marathon to support the cause. The programme is designed keeping in mind the need of underserved children, with an approach to nurture their learning abilities by giving them access to dynamic and engaging learning tools.

LIC: A team of 150 employees of LIC signed up to participate in the TATA Mumbai Marathon to support Smile’s Mission Education (ME) programme. ME’s initiatives include programmes for children in pre-school, formal education, non-formal and bridge education, including non-school-going children and dropouts and children in remedial education. Keeping in alignment with the National Curriculum Framework, 2005, Mission Education Program follows a four-pronged approach with child-centric, teacher-centric, enabling learning environment and community connect towards ensuring equitable access to education.

DDB Mudra: DDB Mudra’s 15 employees participated in the Tata Mumbai Marathon to support around 150 children in the ECS projects. Every Child in School is a project under Smile Foundation's flagship programme, Mission Education (ME) which was launched in 2002 and benefits underprivileged children from difficult circumstances, such as those working as child labour, children of the poorest of parents, street and runaway children, differently abled children, children from disaster zones and slum children.
