SUMMARY:Medical Camp for the people of Sanjeevini Nagar
DESCRIPTION:People from Sanjeevini Nagar benefited from a health camp conducted on the 4th of October 2016. Camp benefits consisted of full medical care including OPD\, supply of drugs\, dressings\, pathological and radiological investigations (diabetic\, haemoglobin\, ECG\, Nebulisation\, urine and blood check up)\, antenatal and postnatal services. Special care was given to the patients and emergency treatment was started to the needy patient. Referrals were very few because 90 percent of diagnosis and treatment were given on the spot. 48 women above the age of 18 years\, 14 men\, 4 adolescent girls and 9 boys availed the medical services.

SUMMARY:LG joins hand with Smile Foundation for mosquito away campaign
DESCRIPTION:LG joined hands with Smile Foundation to fight the mosquito menace that has gripped the capital city of Delhi by launching the campaign ‘Save your Family\, Save the Community’. The campaign will make people aware of the problem and take the necessary preventive steps. \nFumigation and spraying drive was carried out in all 83 slums and resettlement colonies spread across Delhi\, Noida\, Greater Noida and Gurugram reaching 5.5 Lakh population. 12 Health Camps have been conducted covering around 3615 direct beneficiaries. 500 Pathological Test with a special focuses on Chikungunya\, Dengue and Malaria were conducted. The campaign was covered by more than 27 leading news agencies / portals of the country.

Interaction with youth on personality development\, soft skills and their future career was done by personnel’s from various organizations. Sessions were taken up on development of confidence\, facing interviews\, decision making & to take jobs in their field of interest. These sessions’ further help in motivating these students to go forth with different career choices.

Celebrity chef Vikas Khanna and Bollywood’s rising new star of‘Mirzya’ fame\, Saiyami Kher shared a special brunch with the children. Chef Khanna served Quaker Oats based pink beetroot idlis\, pizzas\, burgers\, spaghetti and cookies\, all the excitement of the young children. \nChef Khanna also commented\, “The problem of hunger and malnutrition in India cannot be solved in a day\, and certainly cannot be solved by one person or entity. If we all make an effort to bring a smile to even one child\, I think we’ll get the true blessings we yearn for in the festivities. That’s the core of Quaker Feed a Child and I am happy to be a part of it.”

SUMMARY:Children participate in various activities in Children's Club
DESCRIPTION:The Children’s Club of Mission Education centre MITWA met on the 16th of October 2016. A variety of activities were conducted like singing\, acting\, dancing\, storytelling in the club to bring out the hidden talents of the children. Other activities like playing cricket\, watching documentary movies\, rope jumping\, group dances etc are also conducted on regular basis in the Children’s Club. Activities such as these also boost the confidence of the children and helps in bringing out their thoughts regarding various matters giving them an environment of free thinking and expressing themselves.
