DESCRIPTION:The 21st Limca Book of Records was released on June 28\, 2010. This is one of the most prestigious events in the annual calendar of Coca Cola India Ltd. And this time they had specially invited children from Smile Foundation to be a part of the book’s release. \nThe event began with an introduction of how the Limca Book of Records celebrates the unheard heroes of the country. Notable quizmaster Barry ‘O Brien\, engaged the children in stepping forward with any talent they had\, be it singing\, dancing\, mimicking\, reading out poems or even performing acrobatics. Goodies were given to all these children and extraordinary performances were awarded with a copy of the newest edition of the book. \nThis interactive session was followed by an enthralling dance performance by the famous Prince Dance Troupe. The entire audience\, children and grownups alike\, was gripped by the exhibit of this unmatched talent on stage and applauded enormously. \nThe event then moved forward to the felicitation of the seven dignitaries\, Rahul Dravid being one of them. Rahul Dravid interacted with the children and answered all their innocent questions with great enthusiasm. He also made the kids understand that every single person is born with certain talent; all we need to do is identify it and then nurture the talent with great passion. \nThe children also enjoyed themselves getting close to their cricket idol and shared with him their ambition of being able to play international cricket when they grow up.
