SUMMARY:Exposure visit conducted for students of STeP centers
DESCRIPTION:Exposure Visits were conducted for students of STeP centers of Chennai\, Delhi\, Mumbai\, Kolkata\, Hyderabad and Pune. \nA total of 43 exposure visits were held. The programme aims to provide an exposure to the students with learning opportunities on latest trends and practices at the workplace. \nSmile Twin E- learning Programme (STeP) is an initiative of Smile Foundation that aims at creating a pool of young and independent people\, from a section of underprivileged youth\, through skill enhancement in tandem with market requirements. It is an effort towards bridging the gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower in the fast emerging services and retail sectors of modern India. \nSmile Foundation is a national level development organization directly benefitting over 400\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.

SUMMARY:Career Counselling sessions conducted for STeP students
DESCRIPTION:Counseling sessions had been conducted in centers of Delhi\, Mumbai\, Chennai\, Kolkata and Bengaluru\, Pune and Hyderabad. A total of 83 career counseling sessions were held. Interaction with youth on personality development\, soft skills and their future career was done by personals from various organizations. Sessions were taken up on development of confidence\, facing interviews and decision making.
