DESCRIPTION:On 9th Oct 2013 members from BNY Mellon MNC bank visited the STeP center at Mahakali with Smile foundation representatives \, From BNY Mellon Mr.James Mc Donald (CEO) form New York\, Mr.Arun Chaterjee From India Region had come to the center. \nWith the help of Smile Foundation BNY Mellon Bank has specially come to interact with Step student\, where they had visited our step student and asked them to introduce themselves to them. \nThe core area of discussion was based on interview and presentation skills. At the end of the session the students were very happy with the outcome of the program as it would help them to prepare themselves mentally to take up challenges before going for an interview. And lastly they learned a lot regarding how to work on their weak areas and become successful in future.

SUMMARY:Exposure Visit - R City Mall
DESCRIPTION:On 12th oct’13 an Exposure visit was organized for the STeP Centre JSS Dharavi at R CITY Mall at Ghatkopar Mumbai. In the visit a total of 10 Student and 2 Teacher participated. The main objective of this exposure was to create awareness among the participants and enhance their knowledge on the best practice of the retail sector. \nJThere are many departments on the floor. There were different retails available like Reliance fresh\, CCD\, WestSide\, LifeStyle\, Levis\, McDonald\, FoodBazar\, BodyShop etc. \nMr.Sandeep the Departmental head of Reliance fresh interacted with the students. He briefed the students about the working structure of stores. He also explained the term and condition if anyone will join with this group. Few students were shown their personal interest to work with Reliance. \nThe students were very delighted to experience the working environment in the shopping mall. The exposure was provided to them in order to have a better understanding and improve their communication skills. The beneficiaries were given brief orientation about the nature of the work and various personality development skills. The program was a success as the interaction was informative as a result the visit came as a great inspiration for their bright and prosperous future.

SUMMARY:Employer Engagement Programme
DESCRIPTION:On 15th Oct’13 Employer Engagement Programme was conducted in one of the STeP training center in Kanpur. Employer Engagement Programme is an important component of the STeP training program. It provides a unique exposure of sharing and gathering first hand information for the participants. To make the program strong and more effective one of the STeP centre Sizer infotechlocated at kanpur conducted an Employment Engagement program. \nJJSenior manager from RVS Rise Skill Solutions Pvt Ltd Mr. Naeem Khan shared their valuable professional inputs from various industries and corporate which has helped in preparing youths for a better career. The program was an eye opener for the students as they got lots of information and in return it was motivating and inspiring for them. The students gained various knowledge about various opportunities in the sector related to the company. As a result the session was very informative for them .The students were provided with an insight about the work culture in various industries. This also gives students opportunity for getting their career queries served by the professionals.
