SUMMARY:Exposure visit at at COMCO outlet
DESCRIPTION:On 6th April’12 Prayatn Sanstha\, Jaipur conducted one Exposure visits for their STeP students at COMCO outlet of Hindustan Petroleum. 17 STeP students along with their centre administrator took part in this event. \nAs a part of the curriculum under Smile Twin e-Learning Programme\, the visit is initiated to provide a better perceptive of working environment to the students. The students received a very warm welcome from the staffs and were briefed about how to fill station which operates right from procurement of the fuel to delivery to its customersand payment. Details including eligibility criteria\, selection norms\, and training and expansion opportunities in the company were shared with the students. The main objective of organizing the program is to make the students well acquainted with the present working culture of various sectors and helping them to choose the better career option according to their preferences. The visit initiated for the students was considered as a best way for learning through their exposure.

DESCRIPTION:On 19th April 2012 An Employer Engagement Programme was organized by Orissa Voluntary Health Association (OVHA) \,Bhubaneswar STeP centre for the students of the centre. \nMr. Bibhash Chakrovorty of Café coffee \,kolkata centre came to the centre and shared the job details and the future prospects in Café Coffee. He arranged an interview for Bhubaneswar Café Coffee Centre. Students faced interview and done well. \nDuring the time of Interview Mr. Satrughan Behera\,the coordinator of the centre was present and cooperated in the process. Mr Satya guided the coordinator over telephone. \nStudents were very excited about the interview.they also asked few questions and were very satisfied with the answer.

SUMMARY:Exposure visit to Hub Mall
DESCRIPTION:On Apr 21\, 2012\, Saturday Exposure visit of STEP Course students was arranged to Hub Mall situated in Goregaon.Wherein 12 students of STEP Course got the benefit. The instructors gave brief idea about the purpose of the visit and then the students moved their way in the mall. They were briefed about Retail and mall environment Information was provided on every shop which was located in the mall and students were also told about the working style of particular shop and maintaining the discipline in same way. The Following are some which students visited in \n1. Big Bazaar \n2. McDonalds \n3. Movie time Cinema \nSuch valuable and important information was shared with students during the Exposure visit. Students got familiar with the atmosphere of retail and were very satisfied and happy on their visit to the mall which provided them lots of knowledge. At the end the students got the best Knowledge and were satisfied with the visit.

Mr. Mainak Majumder (Business Development)\, Manas Gupta (Business Development) Sudip Mandal (Placement head) came to the center . To Make the students well acquainted with the present working culture of various sectors helping them choose the better career option according to preferences. \n\nMentally preparing the students to take up challenges and get ready to enter the job scenario.\nMaking them aware about the various job openings.\nInforming them about the requirements for the jobs.\nGiving them a brief about the retail\, Food& beverages\, Sales and BPO sector from the service industry.\n\nThey not only gave them the overview of the working culture but they also motivated them to be a sincere and hard working employee. \n\nIt was the much needed discussion because it was the time the students completed their exams and were about to choose their career option.\nMany job related queries of students got sorted out.
