SUMMARY:New Smile on Wheels flagged off in Alwar
DESCRIPTION:A new Smile on Wheels mobile hospital has been launched in Alwar district in Rajasthan. The project will make healthcare services accessible at the doorsteps of families living in 14 villages in the district\, including Tapukara\, Burhi Bawal\, Khijuriwas\, Jhiwana\, Nimbaheri\, Gwalda\, Pathredi\, Kehrani and Chopanki. \nPowered with a team of qualified doctor\, nurse\, lab technician\, pharmacist\, driver and a group of volunteers\, the project aims to benefit over 16\,000 children and their families directly every year. \nThe project was flagged off in presence of Ms. Rupali Agarwal (Manager CSR Relaxo)\, Mr. Mahendra Singh (Councillor)\, Mr. Dayalal Damore (Dy. Chief Inspector)\, Mr. Sushil Batra (CFO – Relaxo)\, Mr. LN Sharma (President\, Rotary Club)\, Mr. AK Nanau (Sr. GM – Relaxo) and the project staff. \nSmile on Wheels programme at present has 34 operational projects in 265 remote villages and urban slums across India\, directly benefitting over 400\,000 lives in a year. \nSmile Foundation is a national level development organisation directly benefitting over 400\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
