SUMMARY:Smile On Wheels project launched in Muthayanagara
DESCRIPTION:Senior citizens at Muthayanagara slum in Bengaluru inaugurated a new Smile on Wheels mobile hospital project\, supported by Philips. This project will provide free healthcare to children and families in over 20 slums in rural and urban Bangalore\, right at their doorsteps. The community comprises mostly of migrants and is in constant search of daily labour work.

SUMMARY:New Smile on Wheels launched in Dharwad\, karnataka
DESCRIPTION:People from within the community cut the ribbon to launch a new Smile on Wheels Mobile Hospital project in Dharwad district in Karnataka. \nThe project will make healthcare services accessible at the doorsteps of families living in 19 remotely located villages in the district\, including Salakinakoppa\, Devagiri\, Yarikoppa\, Nuggikeri\, Pudakalakatti\, Devara Hubballi\, Tadasin Koppa\, Mansur\, Marewada and Holtikoti. \nPowered with a team of qualified doctor\, nurse\, lab technician\, pharmacist\, driver and a group of volunteers\, the project aims to benefit over 16\,000 children and their families directly every year. \nSmile on Wheels programme at present has 34 operational projects in 265 remote villages and urban slums across India\, directly benefitting over 400\,000 lives in a year. \nSmile Foundation is a national level development organisation directly benefitting over 400\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
