SUMMARY:Teachers meet held in a Mission Education centre
DESCRIPTION:Teachers are the guides who help the children to go forward in their studies and simultaneously grow in extra co-curricular activities. A meeting of the teachers was conducted recently in a Mission education centre in Mumbai to discuss the roles and responsibilities of the teachers and parents in the school as well as home to nurture the children. Syllabus for the children was also planned along with a discussion on what is the best way to utilize the teaching learning materials. A small teachers training programme was also organized. \nMission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation\, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. \nSmile Foundation is an NGO in India directly benefitting over 400\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
