SUMMARY:FSL India Bangalore spend two fun filled days with Smile children
DESCRIPTION:16 volunteers from FSL India Bengaluru visited a Mission Education center in Bengaluru on the 9th and 10th July\, 2017. The two days were spent in creative adventures by both the volunteers and the children to decorate the walls of the center. The first day was spent in involving the students in team activities by conducting various games and activities. The second day was spent in painting and decorating the walls of the Mission Education center. The children and the volunteers both participated in the event. The entire team drew wonderful pictures and it was a meaningful initiative taken up by FSL. \nMission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation\, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. \nSmile Foundation is a national level development organisation directly benefitting over 400\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.

SUMMARY:Meeting of children club and Parent-Teacher meeting held in Mission Centre
DESCRIPTION:Parent-teacher meetings were held in all NFE centre on the 10th of July 2017. The main aim of these meetings were to discuss the progress of the children at school\, what measures must be ensured so that the children study at home and work harder and how can the parents help. The meetings saw the active participation of the children. \nThe meeting of the children club saw the children participate in various cultural and artistic activities. Action songs and group dances were performed by the students and sports competition were conducted. \nMission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation\, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. Since its inception in 2002\, more than 200\,000 underprivileged children have directly benefitted from the Mission Education programme. \nSmile Foundation is a national level development organisation directly benefitting over 400\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
