SUMMARY:Parent Teacher meet held at Mission Education centres
DESCRIPTION:On\, 11 December organized parent teachers meeting was organized at Sirgitti\, Chakarbhata and Budhwari(Navapara) Mission Education centers. Various subjected relevant about the health\, hygiene\, education\, environment and nutrition were discussed in the meeting. Parents-teachers meetings are conducted every month in which the parents are encouraged to send their children to the centre regularly. Parents are asked to take active involvement in their child’s learning process. Child’s progress report is also shared with the parents.

SUMMARY:Mission Education students inaugurate Winter Festival at Shaw Public School
DESCRIPTION:Six girls in the age group of 10-15 years from the Mission Education IPER were invited to inaugurate the Winter Carnival at the Shaw Public School in Behala\, Kolkata on 19th Dec 2016. They flew bunches of balloons in the midst of huge clap and high encore to declare the festival open. The girls also performed dance based on the social issue of child abuse namely ‘Stop Crime against Children’ in the Carnival. The girls were given coupon from the carnival authority to spend on food and games. They enjoyed the time to their heart’s content.

SUMMARY:Celebration of Christmas Day at Mission Education centre
DESCRIPTION:The children of Mission Education Sukrupa celebrated Christmas Day with much fun and joy. Teachers and the members of the Trust were also part of the celebrations. A Christmas cake was cut and distributed among all. The team of students sung Christmas carols to mark the occasion. Everyone had fun and gifts were distributed among the children.

SUMMARY:Health Camp conducted for students at Mission Education centre
DESCRIPTION:The Mission Education centre\, Gramin Vikas Samiti conducted a general health checkup camp on 26th and 27th December\, 2016\, wherein 200 students went through the general health checkup under Dr. Krishna Kumar. Some medicines were distributed to students like Vitamin D tablets and cold syrup according to their problems. Health and Hygiene session was conducted by the doctor whereas soap\, tooth paste and tooth brush was distributed to all the students.
