SUMMARY:The Elegant Charity Football Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Bringing individuals together for a sport brings out some of their most favorable characteristics of camaraderie\, compassion and empathy. By engaging the civil society actively in its social welfare initiatives Smile Foundation aims to bring real and long lasting change in the lives of the most deserving children and families. Employees from over 20 leading corporate came together for a one of its kind initiative – the Elegant Charity Football Tournament 2015\, to ensure education for 250 underprivileged children under Smile Foundation’s Mission Education programme. Participating corporate included Adobe\, Cerner\, Thomson Reuters\, Bet on India\, Shneider Electric\, Herbalife\, Target\, Citrix\, Rubric PR\, Informatica\, TUV Reihnland\, Euromonitor\, Elegant Properties\, and many others. Thomson Reuters won the tournament\, making the coveted cup theirs. Elegant Properties\, Herbalife and Giftxoxo partnered with Smile Foundation for the soccer tournament held at the XLR8 Indoor Arena in Bengaluru.

SUMMARY:Differently abled children sowing the seeds for a brighter future
DESCRIPTION:A group of 60 differently-abled children are sowing seeds of a brighter future at Vikash\, Smile Foundation’s Mission Education Centre at Ganeswarpur village in Puri District\, Odisha. The residential centre provides all the necessary assistive and adoptive facilities to the children\, besides a comfortable stay. Special Educators\, Orthotic and Prosthetic Engineers\, Speech Therapists and Psychologists extend their services as per the required need of these children on a regular basis. \nThey are now bought up in a loving and caring environment in a place that they can call home.

SUMMARY:Value Education Workshop
DESCRIPTION:A value education workshop for school students was conducted by Smile in Nagpur. The session covered topics about leaders of India and how they inspired change in the society. The children were taught how to lead their lives as responsible citizens. They were also taught that how even a child born into lesser privileges could turn his/her future into a bright one. Smile Foundation visits various reputed schools across India and conducts engaging sessions for the young minds under its national programme named ‘Child For Child’ (CFC). It sensitizes children towards various causes\, instills them with value system and let them realize responsibilities to grow up as a responsible citizen. During 2014-15\, Smile Foundation reached out to nearly 1 Million privileged children in 2200 schools spread across 417 districts of India\, through Child For Child programme.

SUMMARY:Crown Worldwide Group extends supports to Smile Foundation
DESCRIPTION:75 volunteers from Crown Worldwide Group in Mumbai\, Delhi and Bangalore engaged and spent their time with Smile Children in the respective project centers through various activities like making of environment friendly Ganesha idol\, Informative Poster Making and Diya painting\, etc. Crown Worldwide Group has extended its support to the My Mission Education programme of Smile Foundation which will help 20\,500 children continue with their education.
