SUMMARY:A motivational and stress-busting workshop
DESCRIPTION:A motivational and stress-busting workshop was conducted for children of Smile Foundation’s Mission Education centre Sukrupa in Bangalore\, Karnataka. Dr. Geetha Patil and Dr. Preethi Galgali talked to the children about the different problems they face in their everyday lives and how to deal with these issues in a positive way. \nThe workshop was designed in a way that the children had a lot of fun while learning. It was made interactive through games\, quizzes and question answer sessions. The trainers advised the children to share their problems with their parents and teachers without hesitation. \nSuch sessions with professionals are regularly conducted to help the children cope up with the problems in their lives.

SUMMARY:Smile Kids gets a surprise visit from Faisal Khan
DESCRIPTION:On Children’s Day\, children from Smile Foundation’s Mission Education centre SHED in Mumbai\, got a surprise visit from child artist Faisal Khan. Faisal\, who entered small screen through a dance reality show\, became popular for his portrayal of Maharana Pratap on a telly show. \nDuring the visit\, Faisal shared incidents from his own childhood with the kids and listened to them talk about their lives. He distributed chocolates to the children\, played games with them and also taught them a few dance steps\, and dialogues from his show. Pledging his support for the Mission Education campaign\, he talked about the importance of education with the children and shared how they can balance their studies with their talents.

DESCRIPTION:Luxury watch brand Hublot has joined hands with Smile Foundation to support the education of children under Mission Education. In an event to mark the cheque handover ceremony\, Hublot’s ambassador and popular cricketer Harbhajan Singh met children from Smile Foundation. The kids had a great time and got quick tips from Harbhajan\, besides getting personally autographed cricket balls. Ricardo Guadalupe\, CEO of Hublot\, symbolically handed over the cheque.
