DESCRIPTION:With festivity in the air and Christmas round the corner\, Smile Foundation organized a Christmas day celebration for its beneficiaries in collaboration with their Bhopal partner Family Planning Association of India. Christmas is the time to spread joy and smiles across faces and the event exactly did the same .The primary objective of this celebration is to send a message to the privileged masses that they should be a part of the much required change in the society and the least that can be done is to Smile back at those who look upto them. \nA day full of fun and fiesta as the kids celebrated the joy of Christmas together. Many games and activates were designed for kid’s entertainment like: Chair race games\, magical show\, and storytelling about Lord Jesus Christ and Christmas day celebration. The kids also gifted each other personalized greeting cards and wished a joy full Christmas. \nSpeaking on the occasion Mr. Jose Thomas\, Director Family Planning Association of India\, stated- “We have consistently been making an effort to become a reason for someone to Smile. Festivals are a time when Children are full of joy and hope. We try our best to give every child an opportunity to celebrate and feel special about the same. We thank Smile Foundation for all the support they have extended to us in touching so many lives” \nThe Family Planning Association of India is the country`s leading voluntary family planning organisation. Composed of volunteer members and staff\, it has its Headquarters in Mumbai and 40 Branches\, 13 Integrated Rural Projects and three Area Projects spread across the country.

For this special association\, Kingdom of Dreams very earnestly hosted a special trip to the biggest entertainment extravaganza of the country\, for Smile Foundation’s children beneficiaries. With this special Christmas celebration for underprivileged children\, Kingdom of Dreams wishes to sensitize one and all about the message that one must Be the Change that One Desires to See. The primary objective of this event is to provide a platform for promoting child development and social welfare initiatives at various levels of the society. \nOn the occasion\, Viraf Sarkari\, Director Wizcraft International Entertainment says “We have been making consistent efforts to take our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives further through various events and occasions. It also aims to promote the culture of Giving and Sharing among the privileged masses\, inspiring them to act and make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged children. \nMany activities were designed for kid’s entertainment like: Chair race games\, magical show\, and storytelling about Lord Jesus Christ and Christmas day celebration. Smile kids sing and dance in the festival of Christmas and enjoyed with each other. The kids also gifted each other personalized greeting cards and wished a joy full Christmas. Children also got gifts and sweets on the occasion. The children felt very special as they all were given gifts. \nThis event was the perfect platform for the children to showcase their creative side and talent. The event was organized in way as to spread the spirit of oneness.

SUMMARY:Smile kids celebrated the joy of Christmas
DESCRIPTION:With festivity season Smile Foundation organized a Christmas day celebration for its children beneficiaries in their project in Jammu. It was a day full of fun and fiesta as the kids celebrated it with Santa. Many games and activates were designed for kid’s entertainment like: magical show\, singing\, dancing on Christmas tunes\, storytelling about Lord Jesus Christ and Christmas day celebration. Santa also danced with the kids and distributed gifts and sweets among the kids. Short plays were also performed by Smile kids. All the guests present in the celebration were highly impressed with the kid’s talents. \nSpeaking on the occasion\, Mr. HN. Sahay -Director Smile Foundation stated: “We try to spread happiness in the lives of these less privileged children through various initiatives. Festivals are meant to be celebrated together; by celebrating all the festivals in our centers we try to inculcate a sense of togetherness among the kids. And let them enjoy it to the fullest .We appreciate our local partner to help us spreading the message\, to be the change in someone’s life. We can fight the social evils of the society only when we have the support from civil society”
