SUMMARY:Child Friendly city initiative held in Chandigarh
DESCRIPTION:A child friendly city initiative was held in Chandigarh on the 3rd of October 2019. The initiative seeks to draw attention on children’s rights\, namely; Right to Education\, Right to Participation\, Right to health\, Right to play and leisure & Right to safety. \nUnder the Child for Child programme\, Smile Foundation visits various schools and conducts engaging sessions for the young minds and also teachers and partents. It sensitizes children towards various causes and let them realize their privileged status and conducts health checkups regularly. \nCFC currently reaches out to nearly one million privileged children in 900 schools spread across 417 districts of India\, every year. In addition\, their parents and teachers are also involved in the process. The programme has today reached out to each part of India with the exception of Lakshadweep. \nSmile Foundation is an NGO in India directly benefitting over 600\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 250 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.

SUMMARY:Food Festival on the eve of Diwali
DESCRIPTION:Food Festival at Edify Amravati was an example of innovation and alternative to the activities conducted conventionally under the CFC program. \nThe day of Food Festival was a real test\, but well organized. The beauty of this activity was that all the stakeholders of the school got involved directly in raising the charity for Smile Foundation. The parents\, students and faculty enthusiastically\, in cohesion\, enjoyed the fund-raising program through the Food Fest. The event saw the participation of 1000+ parents and students. \nAs in Assembly Talks we have develop this program as a competition and the hard work of the students were appreciated with tokens\, in this Fest the best decorated Food / Highest Collecting Stall were awarded with prizes. \nUnder the Child for Child programme\, Smile Foundation visits various schools and conducts engaging sessions for the young minds. SUMMARY:Prize distribution session conducted under CFC programme
DESCRIPTION:A prize distribution ceremony was conducted at a school in Noida. The children received the prize according to their contribution towards the education and development of underprivileged children. The children are sensitized in the morning assemblies and other sessions; which include the value of empathy\, care and integrity in life; how to grow up as a successful as well as happy individual\, among other subjects. The assembly talk was a way to educate the children of the hardships children in urban slums and extremely remote areas face when they want to peruse a good education. \nSmile Foundation visits various privileged schools across India and conducts engaging sessions for the young minds\, under CFC programme. Children are sensitized in various causes\, value systems and are ushered to realize their importance in growing up as responsible citizens of the country. \nDuring last one year\, Smile Foundation reached out to nearly 1 Million privileged children in over 1000 schools spread across 417 districts of India\, through Child For Child (CFC) programme. In addition\, their parents and teachers were also involved in the process.

DESCRIPTION:A sensitization session was conducted for school children under CFC programme of Smile Foundation in Madhya Pradesh. The children were sensitized about being sensitive towards their less privileged peers during the festivals and help each other out by lending a helping hand in their education and have a friendly attitude towards them. 1000 students were present during the session and pledged to help the less privileged children. \nUnder the Child for Child programme\, Smile Foundation visits various schools and conducts engaging sessions for the young minds.
