SUMMARY:Value Education Workshop held at Mickey's High School & Jr. College
DESCRIPTION:Students of High School & Jr. College – Pune attended Smile Foundation’s value education session under Child for Child (CFC) programme. The Principal of the school along with staff members and teachers also participated in the session. The Principal and management of the school invited Suryakant Narvekar to inaugurate a Science Exhibition that was held in the school the next day. \np>CFC has been designed for bringing children from both the worlds together\, sensitising the privileged children about the life and aspiration of their less privileged counterparts and encouraging them for growing up as responsible citizens to build a better society.

SUMMARY:Value Education Workshop for children in MB Convent\, Dosar Bhawan
DESCRIPTION:MB Convent\, Dosar Bhawan\, Central Avenue\, Nagpur invited Smile Foundation to conduct a Value Education Workshop under Child for Child (CFC) programme. \nMore than 300 children participated in the workshop which was an interactive exchange of ideas. School Principal Mrs. Sapna Khamele\, along with teachers and staff members were also present during the session. \nSmile Foundation visits various privileged schools across India and conducts engaging sessions for the young minds\, under CFC programme. Children are sensitized in various causes\, value systems and are ushered to realize their importance in growing up as responsible citizens of the country.

SUMMARY:Reconstruction of classrooms in Gyandeep School
DESCRIPTION:Under Smile Foundation’s Child For Child programme\, the classrooms of Gyandeep School\, Devi\, Madhya Pradesh\, which are in dilapidated conditions\, are being reconstructed. The children coming to the school are mainly from the adivasi community. Recently\, the school management has adopted 15 orphan students who are enjoying being in school. \nThe Sarpanch and other elders of the village\, including many parents of the students\, were present on the occasion\, giving full security and support to the project. \nThis was a step towards bridging the existing gaps and inequalities between the privileged and underprivileged children\, which is one of the major objectives of the Child for Child programme.

SUMMARY:Celebrating Human Rights Day at Kendriya Vidyalaya
DESCRIPTION:Smile Foundation’s Child For Child programme team celebrated Human Rights Day with the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya\, Manesar on 10th December\, 2014. On the occasion\, CFC programme officer Ms Ruchira Shree spoke on human rights and apprised the children about the importance of Rights as well as various Articles embedded in the Constitution of India pertaining to Child Rights. \nThe children were joined by Principal Mrs Jeena\, teachers from the school\, and representatives from Smile Foundation\, and everyone actively participated in the occasion. The students also presented a play based on Human Rights sensitization.
