SUMMARY:KFC partners with Smile Foundation to support Dabbawalas
DESCRIPTION:KFC India has partnered with Smile Foundation to support Dabbawalas families who have been one of the most affected communities during the lockdown. As schools and offices were shut down the Dabbawalas lost their only source of livelihood. To increase support to the dabbawalas\, KFC India has partnered with Smile Foundation to provide dry ration and hygiene kits to 5000 families across Mumbai & Pune. \nWith the economic distress and ongoing lockdown\, Smile Foundation is distributing free ration to the underprivileged communities in rural areas and urban slums. More than 20 million meals have been distributed across 22 states of India.
