SUMMARY:DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd collaborates with Smile Foundation to renovate school
DESCRIPTION:School is the home of the pilgrim whose religion is education.” And to preserve this place is to preserve the sharing of knowledge. DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd took an initiative in collaboration with Smile Foundation to renovate the physical environment and infrastructure of Nayak Hukamchand Government School in Gurugram. A big leap was taken towards making this school a Green School by constructing the Rain Water Harvesting System. Apart from tiling\, repairing\, and whitewashing\, colorful drawings were painted on the walls of the school to make learning a fun process. The playground was leveled and fresh grass was planted so that the children may relax and play around freely. The effort is aimed towards promoting a joyful learning experience so that gaining education remains ever exciting for kids. \nThe formal launch of this project was attended by the Managing Director and Director of Denso\, Mr. Yoshinori Onda and Mr. Shyamal Chakraborti respectively\, among others. Catering to 131 children\, the school is set to transform into the most child-friendly environment. \nMission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation\, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children.
