DESCRIPTION:Actor Kartik Aaryan celebrated Children’s Day with children from a Mission Education centre at Mumbai on the 14th of November 2018. The actor celebrated the day by cutting a cake and playing fun games with the children. The actor also showered gifts on the little children who were overjoyed to receive them. The kids also gifted him handmade greeting cards which the actor found really touching. The kids had an amazing time playing cricket and other games and also bowling. \nSmile Foundation is an NGO in India directly benefitting over 600\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 250 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.

SUMMARY:Value based cinema screened across schools under Child for Child programme
DESCRIPTION:Smile Foundation programme\, Child for Child’s initiative of screening value based cinema for school children kick started on Children’s Day at Mohali\, Umred\, Hyderabad and Kolkata. \nThe aim of the programme is to sensitize children through hand-picked quality films\, with assortment of various topics starting from gender equality to environment\, family values\, friendship\, aspirations\, dream\, self-confidence and importance of education from across the globe. \nChild for Child currently reaches out to nearly one million privileged children in 900 schools spread across 417 districts of India\, every year. In addition\, their parents and teachers are also involved in the process. The programme has today reached out to each part of India with the exception of Lakshadweep.
