SUMMARY:Teacher’s Day celebrations across Mission Education centre
DESCRIPTION:A teacher takes a hand\, opens a mind and touches a heart. \nTeacher’s Day is celebrated on the 5th of September to show love and gratitude towards our teachers who held our hands and taught us everything\, from school teachers to college professors to our tutors or trainers in fields other than academics and parents. \nStudents across Mission Education centers celebrated the day amid much fun and joy. Teachers were greeted with flowers after which they spoke about the importance of the day. Cultural programmes were organized in various centers wherein children showcased their talents by singing and dancing. Various games were also organized for the teachers and the children also gifted handmade cards to their teachers. \nMission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation\, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. \nSmile Foundation is a national level development organization directly benefitting over 400\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
