SUMMARY:Intel Employees spend a fun day at Mission Education center
DESCRIPTION:From mask making to balloon stomping to mind games\, 120 children from Mission Education centre celebrated ‘Fun Day’ with the employees of Intel in Bangalore. The activity witnessed a commendable participation from the children who exhibited their sportsmanship in all the challenges thrown at them by the volunteers. The employees from Intel also revisited their school days by spending time with the children. It was a fun filled day for the children as well the employees. \nMission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation\, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. \nSmile Foundation is an NGO in India directly benefitting over 600\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 250 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.

SUMMARY:Counseling sessions held for STeP students
DESCRIPTION:Counseling sessions were conducted in centers of Delhi\, Mumbai\, Chennai\, Kolkata and Bengaluru\, Pune and Hyderabad. A total of 55 career counseling sessions were held. Interaction with youth on personality development\, soft skills and their future career was done by personnel from various organizations. Sessions were taken up on development of confidence\, facing interviews\, decision making & to take jobs in their field of interest. The sessions helped in motivating these students to go forth with different career choices. \nSmile Twin E- learning Programme (STeP) is an initiative of Smile Foundation that aims at creating a pool of young and independent people\, from a section of underprivileged youth\, through skill enhancement in tandem with market requirements. It is an effort towards bridging the gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower in the fast emerging services and retail sectors of modern India. \nSmile Foundation is a national level development organization directly benefitting over 400\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
