DESCRIPTION:Exposure Visits were conducted for students of STeP centers of Chennai\, Delhi\, Mumbai\, Kolkata\, Hyderabad and Pune. \nA total of 43 exposure visits were held. The programme aims to provide an exposure to the students with learning opportunities on latest trends and practices at the workplace. \nSmile Twin E- learning Programme (STeP) is an initiative of Smile Foundation that aims at creating a pool of young and independent people\, from a section of underprivileged youth\, through skill enhancement in tandem with market requirements. It is an effort towards bridging the gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower in the fast emerging services and retail sectors of modern India. \nSmile Foundation is a national level development organization directly benefitting over 400\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.

SUMMARY:Workshop on sex-education conducted for the children of Mission Education
DESCRIPTION:A workshop on sex education was conducted for the children of a Misssion Education centre at Gurugram\, Hrayana. Sex-education is an important aspect for the overall development of children from a young age. The children were taught about good touch and bad touch and what measures should be taken if caught in an unfavorable situation. The children were also educated through the medium of videos. \nMission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation\, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. \nSmile Foundation is an NGO in India directly benefitting over 600\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 250 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
