SUMMARY:Celebration of World Water Day in Mission Education centre
DESCRIPTION:Children from a Mission Education centre in Chandigarh celebrated World Water Day on the 22nd of March by participating in a poster making competition. The teachers gave a speech about the correct usage of water and why should we conserve water and why tress are important for the environment and sustaining water sources. The children drew beautiful drawings of water bodies and nature. The children learnt a lot from the day and had much fun. \nMission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation\, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. \nSmile Foundation is an NGO in India directly benefitting over 600\,000 children and their families every year\, through more than 250 live welfare projects on education\, healthcare\, livelihood and women empowerment\, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
