SUMMARY:Third Edition of Smile International Film Festival for Children and Youth concludes
DESCRIPTION:The third edition of the week-long celebration of Good Cinema – Smile International Film Festival for Children and Youth (SIFFCY) started on the 11th of December and ended on the 17th of December 2017 at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi. SIFFCY 2017 showcased 120+ critically acclaimed films from more than 50 countries to an audience of over 20\,000 children. \nThe week-long celebration of Good Cinema started on the 11th of December 2017 at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi. SIFFCY 2017 showcased 120+ critically acclaimed films from more than 50 countries to an audience of over 20\,000 children. \nRaveena Tandon inaugurated the festival this year\, along with #SIFFCY Chairman Santanu Mishra (Co-founder\, Smile Foundation)\, Festival Director Jitendra Mishra\, and international Jury members Arend Agethe (Germany)\, Michal Mathus (Israel)\, Gert Hermans (Belgium)\, Judita Soukupova (Czech Republic)\, and Chantal Bowen (Canada). \nThe festival’s success was made possible with support from various partners. International Organizations like FSI (India)\, BFI (London)\, CINEKID (Netherlands) and Wild Geese Foundation were the Festival Partners. Ultra\, MSL Group\, Indian Institute of Photography\, Creative Hub\, Book A smile\, ONGC\, Honda\, Amazon Prime (Video)\, Carnival Cinemas\, Mirror Now\, Madam Tussauds\, Pioneer and PR Professionals came on board as Official Partners. \nSmile Foundation’s Film Festival is an effort to sensitize children and youth through hand-picked quality films\, with assortment of various topics starting from gender equality to environment\, family values\, friendship\, aspirations\, dream\, self-confidence and importance of education from across the globe.

SUMMARY:Smile participates in the Mumbai Juniorthon for the second consecutive year
DESCRIPTION:The Mumbai Juniorthon is the first ever annual running event for children & junior athletes in Mumbai. Juniorthon is all about Mumbai children running towards a healthier future and supporting a good cause. The goal of Juniorthon is to encourage outdoor activities and physical fitness amongst children by giving them an opportunity to accomplish the goal of running. Around 3000 children participated in the event. The second annual running event for children & junior athletes in Mumbai\, the Mumbai Juniorthon was flagged off by Ms. Claudia Ciesla\, Ms. Preetika Rao and Dipannita Sharma. \nMany celebrities from the B Town also participated in the event and supported the cause of children’s education. The funds raised through the event will be utilized for the cause of educating the lesser privileged.
