SUMMARY:Education for a bright future
DESCRIPTION:82 girls from slum clusters around Delhi have been awarded merit based scholarships to complete their schooling and higher studies under Smile Foundation’s Swabhiman programme\, many of these girls are pursuing their graduation from reputed colleges and universities across the city\, including the Delhi University. Facing issues such as gender bias\, poverty\, trap of child marriage these girls could not even afford to go to school earlier. However with determination\, hard work and courage\, these girls were able to defeat their circumstances and emerge as winners. Each one of them is an inspiration for thousands of other girls struggling to survive.

SUMMARY:Exposure Visit at NESCO Ltd.
DESCRIPTION:On 21st October\, 2015 students from STeP center The Prem Foundation\, Mumbai went for an Exposure Visit to NESCO Ltd. at Goregaon (East). \nTotal of 35 students with 3 teachers were present for the visit. Mr. Sashikant More\, Head Instructor\, NESCO Ltd.\, interacted with the students and shared the skill of BPO. He also gave some important facts of BPO Sector. While visiting the whole company students observed that the company is divided into different departments such as manufacturing\, Planning\, Marketing\, Creativity & Innovation across etc. \nDuring the visit\, Students asked several questions related to BPO Sector which was promptly answered by the instructor. At the end of exposure visit the students were very motivated and happy.

SUMMARY:Exposure Visit at Big Bazaar
DESCRIPTION:On 21st October 2015\, students from the STeP Center Bhartiya Navdeep Samiti went to Big Bazaar at Inderlok in New Delhi. \nTotal of 30 students and Center Coordinator and 3 teachers were present for the visit. Mr. Chandan\, store Manager & Mr. Saurabh\, Department managar\, Big Bazaar interacted with the students. Mr. Saurabh explained their job responsibilities and also shared job duration. He also shared the experience of Retail management. While visiting the whole store\, students observed that Big Bazaar is divided into separate departments like food bar\, home-wear\, home entertainment\, furniture\, sports\, toys and fashion etc. \nDuring the visit\, students asked several questions related to retail management which was promptly answered by the Department Manager. At the end of exposure visit the students were very motivated and happy.
