SUMMARY:Reconstruction of classrooms in Gyandeep School
DESCRIPTION:Under Smile Foundation’s Child For Child programme\, the classrooms of Gyandeep School\, Devi\, Madhya Pradesh\, which are in dilapidated conditions\, are being reconstructed. The children coming to the school are mainly from the adivasi community. Recently\, the school management has adopted 15 orphan students who are enjoying being in school. \nThe Sarpanch and other elders of the village\, including many parents of the students\, were present on the occasion\, giving full security and support to the project. \nThis was a step towards bridging the existing gaps and inequalities between the privileged and underprivileged children\, which is one of the major objectives of the Child for Child programme.
