SUMMARY:Harley Davidson ride in support of Mission Education
DESCRIPTION:Tusker Harley Davidson Bangalore\, in association with H.O.G (Harley Owners Group)\, organized a ride with a difference to support the education of underprivileged kids. Flagged off by children from Smile Foundation\, the ride was joined by 20 HOG’s from the garden city who covered a stretch of 100kms from Tusker Harley Davidson\, Lavelle Road to the Prestige Golfshire. \nThe resources raised from the ride were extended towards the education and nutrition of 60 children\, under Smile Foundation’s Mission Education programme. The HOG’s had also put up placards on the importance of education for children to sensitize the public towards the cause. \nSpeaking about the initiative Mr. Srinivas Reddy\, CEO and MD\, Tusker Harley Davidson said\, “When we have so much of inequality around us\, it becomes an important responsibility of people like us to ensure our best to the marginalized community. This campaign where the HOG’s have joined hands in raising resources and spreading awareness about the cause of education for every child is phenomenal and I thank all HOGs’ who came forward to support Smile Foundation.” \nThe sensitization cum resource raising campaign involving all the HOGs’ in Bangalore was organized under the ‘Celebrating Responsible Luxury’ initiative of Smile Foundation\, in which luxury brands across the spectrum join hands to put smiles on the faces of underprivileged children\, by endowing the gift of education to ensure a better future for them.
