SUMMARY:Smile Foundation recognized with the NGO Excellence Award
DESCRIPTION:Smile Foundation has been conferred the Corporate Excellence Award for NGO Excellence. The award was received by Mr. Vikram Singh Verma\, Chief Operating Officer\, on behalf of Smile Foundation\, at a ceremony held in Mumbai. \nThe Awards have been instituted by the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE); a Hyderabad based non-profit educational society\, endorsed by World CSR Day and Asian Confederation of Business. \nThe IPE Corporate Excellence Awards recognize and honour companies as well as individuals who\, through their corporate practices\, have helped to raise India’s corporate disclosure standards and corporate governance. The Awards seek to identify and celebrate those companies that have had a positive impact on our environment and society as well as their business. \nSpeaking on the occasion\, Mr. Verma said\, “It is indeed a great encouragement for us to receive the NGO Excellence Award. Recognitions such as this are good motivations to continue the good work as well as doing it the right way. All the hard work that we put in to achieve high standard of delivery and good governance seems to be well encouraged at platforms like this. On behalf of Smile Foundation I would like to thank each and everyone who considered and appreciated us for this honour.”
