SUMMARY:JK Tyre & Industries partners with Smile Foundation
DESCRIPTION:JK Tyre has joined hands with Smile Foundation\, in an endeavour to provide quality education through the Mission Education (ME) programme. In a joint initiative undertaken on 13th May 2013\, JK Tyre invited a group of 25 children from the ME centre Health & Care Society to Buddh International Circuit for a memorable racetrack experience. \nThe children got an opportunity to visit the circuit\, get a glimpse of trackside facilities including the Race Control room\, team buildings\, and team garages\, visited the pit lane and also got to do one lap of the 5.14km circuit\, which is one of the fastest F1 tracks in the world. \nThe icing on the cake came when the children got to meet and interact with racing drivers from JK Tyre’s Motorsport Program and VW Polo R Cup series. They spoke to the children at length and shared their experiences of racing and explained what it takes to build a career in motorsport. \nJ K Tyre & Industries is a leading tyre brand in India which is motivated and committed to excellence in performance. \nMission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation which focuses on basic education of underprivileged children. Smile Foundation promotes universal education\, and creates the process required to streamline the underprivileged children into mainstream schools in a sustainable manner.
