Underprivileged children from Mission Education centre have a blast at Google
For 30 students from Smile Foundation, the thrill of experiencing Virtual Reality for the first time was almost palpable as they were introduced to it by Googlers at Google India’s Gurgaon office. At an employee engagement session (gServe), Google India provided the children with an opportunity to learn Google Search, Google Maps, Google Translate, YouTube, and more. Googlers not only engaged with them but also took care of them through the day as the excited and overwhelmed kids immersed in the activities and facilities. The children are receiving educational support at Mission Education Centre under Smile Foundation’s Mission Education program.
Mission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children.
