A health camp, led by Dr. Shanthi from KSM medical centre, and assisted by Swabhiman Health Volunteers (SHVs) and Community Health Educators (CHEs), provided preventive and curative health services in the slums of Mayuranagara and Raichur in Bengaluru, Karnataka, under Smile Foundation's Swabhiman programme. More than 200 women benefitted from the camp, including expecting mothers for whom ante-natal check-ups and one-on-one counselling sessions were held.
