Exposure visit for getting to know the globalised world of the retail sector
Marketing can be defined as being the intermediary function between product development and sales. the people wanting to pursue this as a career must have very good communication, Marketing & Conversion Skills they should generate leads, followups, create proposals, meet clients, execute sales, achieve monthly target. Geek knowledge of internet, email, social media are an add on. On 15th March 2011, the STeP students of New Public School Samiti , visited the East End Mall, Gomti Nagar Lucknow, UP , to learn about the global/centralized marketing system i.e. managerial skills, modern retailing work, working styles, personality development and body language of the people working there. They interacted with the people in charge of their respective departments to get an insight about the things.
