Providing quality education to marginalized children in Alwar
This Mission Education project ensures quality education to children of the Jodia village in Alwar district, Rajasthan.
The project especially focuses on moral education and value inculcation, along with basic subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, and Social Science. Library and science laboratories have also been incorporated into the curriculum to keep the students engaged in the learning process.
With all round development of children as the aim, the project grooms their personality, to help them grow up as achievers. Qualified and full-time teachers have been specially trained on methodologies that are to be adopted to make subjects like Science, English and Mathematics interesting as well as easy to understand for the children. Volunteers are engaged from time to time to add value to the classroom teaching learning process.
The ‘Remedial Education Programme’ under the project provides support to school going children in the age group of 4 to 14. These children are provided with wholesome education beginning from class III to class X, to help them match up to the expected learning levels and excel in school.
Smile Foundation has partnered with the Tagore Model Shikshan Sansthan for this Mission Education Project.
