Amway
Opportunity Foundation, the CSR arm of Amway India Private Limited,
has renewed their partnership with Smile Foundation for supporting
the cause of girl child education. Amway Opportunity Foundation
(AOF) a registered non-profit organization which looks after Amway
India's corporate social responsibility. AOF's mission is to be
the front-runner in providing opportunities for child education
and health to attain economic independence, with special focus on
blind children. With presence in most of the countries across the
globe, Amway finds itself in a position to focus its philanthropic
efforts so as to maximize a positive and sustainable impact on the
society. Under this project with Smile Foundation, AOF is supporting
the education and health of children.
CGI has
partnered with Smile Foundation for supporting the education of
girls. Under the partnership, CGI sensitized and encouraged all
its employees to make individual contributions for the cause.

Smile
Foundation's educational initiative for children has got another
new supporter – Shankara Infrastructure Materials Limited.
The ISO 9001-2008 certified Shankara Group has established itself
as India's premier distributor and retailer of a wide range of steel
and allied products, ranging from tubes, channels, and beams to
welding rods, decorative fabrication products and roofing solutions.
Shankara has been catering to groups across the board since 1995.
For nearly a decade now, Shankara has been involved with many NGOs
and NPOs. Child literacy and education support for the destitute
and sustainability of the environment has been the focus of its
activities.
With this support Smile will
be providing bridge education and remedial education to children
and also be mainstreaming them into formal schools. |

Air
France KLM, already a supporter of Smile Foundation's educational
initiative for children, has extended further support for the education
of more children. They have started a Cause Related Marketing initiative
wherein a part of the sales proceeds from their online ticket booking
is being focused on Smile's Mission Education programme. In addition,
they also partnered with Smile Foundation in its Ramp for Champs
event, held in Bangalore. Through this association they supported
the education of especially girl child beneficiaries of Smile.
Aware of its responsibilities
and the issues affecting the shared growth of its business, the
Air France KLM Group has chosen to place CSR at the heart of its
business strategy and throughout its organization, thereby giving
an important role to dialogue with its stakeholders. Based on its
CSR achievements, Air France KLM has been recognized by various
non- financial rating agencies as a frontrunner in CSR.

Pharmaceuticals has partnered with Smile Foundation for its healthcare
initiative. This is a cause related marketing partnership wherein
Intas Pharmaceuticals is supporting Smile's healthcare programme
– Smile on Wheels – through a percentage of sales proceeds
of their drug Hifenac-P. Hifenac-P is a leading name and one of
the most widely used drugs in managing fever and pains. Intas Pharmaceuticals
is a leading pharmaceutical company, vertically integrated in pharmaceutical
business dedicated to the human and animal health care. Intas's
Corporate Social Responsibility is primarily aimed at giving the
organization the opportunity to make a difference beyond its core
business.

The
Prestige Group has been one of Smile Foundation's major
supporters in most of its initiatives, especially initiatives
focused on education and development of children. Like the
previous year, Prestige Group again partnered with Smile
as the title sponsor for the second season of Ramp for Champs,
a celebrity fashion show for the cause of educating children.
This year Ramp for Champs had a special focus on education
of the girl child and as the title sponsor, Prestige Group
supported the education of over 200 girls.

TechShastra
India Private Limited, the digital partner of Surf Excel
Matic, associated with Smile to provide basic healthcare
services to underprivileged people, in some of the outreach
areas of Delhi and Mumbai. With support from TechShastra,
Smile conducted several health camps in some of the least
reached slums of Delhi and Mumbai. These health camps provided
preventive, curative and promotive services to the people.
In addition, sensitization of the people on preventing common
diseases and maintaining health and hygiene in the area,
was also done.

Viacom18Media
Private Limited associated with Smile Foundation to support
Smile's Mission Education programme – an initiative
to provide education to underprivileged children. The media
giant, under this association, organized an employee engagement
activity for all its employees in Mumbai. While Viacom supported
the cause of children's education, this engagement of employees
was to sensitize them individually towards the cause as
well. Viacom18Media, is a 50/50 joint venture operation
in India between Viacom Inc and the Network18 Group, and
operates six general entertainment channels. Viacom's commitment
to social responsibility is a key facet of their success
and an inextricable part of their culture. Bringing people
together and speaking to commonalities is the foundation

Bangalore's
Tusker Harley Davidson partnered with Smile Foundation as
the associate sponsor for Ramp for Champs, a celebrity fashion
show for the cause of educating children. This year's Ramp
for Champs was focused on educating girls and Tusker Harley
Davidson pledged to support the education of underprivileged
girls for a whole year. Bangalore's Tusker Harley-Davidson
is run by Srinivas Reddy whose lifelong passion has been
