Key Responsibilities


Programme Delivery and Implementation

• Responsible for the direct handling of Scholarship project, which includes counselling the scholars, interacting with families, networking with training institutes and colleges and documentation related work

• Responsible for the annual work plan and budgets of all projects under Women Empowerment programme. Ensure project activities and deliverables comply with the MOU with the donor organizations and are delivered in a timely manner. Support in developing the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) for tracking of deliverables (outputs and outcomes) agreed in the project and help monitor progress against agreed indicators and milestones.

• Monitor and Maintain inflow vs. outflow of the program/project budgets

Team management & Capacity Building:

• Provide leadership and support to the team

• Monitor staff performance and Identify team capacity building opportunities for quality implementation of interventions at the Program level through mentorship and conducting training programs

Programme Development, Partner Identification and Donor Management

• Developing relevant projects on financial empowerment, skill training etc.

• Selecting genuine/ credible NGO Partners

• Nurturing Donors by ensuring that the committed deliverables are met

• Ensure timely and high standard of donor reporting as per required formats

• Represent Smile Foundation at various forums

COMPETENCIES :

• Has understanding of Adolescent related issues, Govt. Policies for youth and women, gender equity, vocational skill training, etc.

• Good communication skills to successfully work with all the stakeholders, partners, govt. Agencies

• Striving for excellence: Manages team and program milestones to deliver high quality results within timelines and as per donor requirements

• Financial Diligence: Has an ability to develop, manage and control budgets and use financial information to inform program decisions

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Master’s degree in Social Work/Rural Management/ Development/ other relevant field with minimum 6-8 years work experience, preferably in the Education / Life-skills related work

• Practical experience of building a youth-sensitive advocacy contents and counselling

• Experience of Project management, including budgeting

• Good computer skills
