Following a lifecycle approach, Smile Foundation works intensively through focused welfare projects in four major areas – child education, healthcare for families, skills training and livelihood for youth, and community engagement through women empowerment.
So far, we have been able to directly impact the lives of over 1 million children and families.

Smile Twin e-Learning Programme (STep) works for the marginalised youth, helping them attain gainful employment by providing vocational education and traning.
Last Year's Impact
213 corporate engagement programmes and 82 exposure visits were conducted during the year across the country.
55.7% of the total trained youth got placed in first attempt of the recruitment drive in more than 200 reputed brands.
There was an overall increase of 54.9% form last year in enrolment at STeP centres because of better opportunities.
In the reporting period out of the total youth enrolled under STeP, 87% successfully compled training and received certificates of accomplishment.
New curriculum developed for Retail and Basic Management and Soft Skills which will enable the students to be at par with the rquirements of the market.
52% of the total beneficiaries were girls.
