Smile kids celebrate the joy of Christmas with the cast and crew of F.A.L.T.U.
Children from Smile Foundation celebrated the Christmas Eve with the cast and crew of the soon-to-be-released film F.A.L.T.U.
All the children visited the sets of the film in R.K.Studios. The entire team including Jackky Bahgnani, Puja Gupta, Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Angad Bedi, director Remo D'Souza and producer Vashu Bhagnani, were present for the celebration. To add to the fun, actor Jackky Bhagnani's birthday was celebrated during the occasion. The children sang for him and gave him roses as a small birthday present.
Truly touched by this, Jackky emotionally spoke saying "This has truly been a very special birthday for me. Celebrating my birthday with kids just made me nostalgic about my childhood and we used to celebrate it and since this is the time of Christmas I couldn't have asked for anything better than bring a smile on the faces of these kids. It has been a wonderful experience for me."
The children felt very special as they all were given gifts and the entire crew danced with them on the songs of the upcoming movie. Present at the occasion producer Vashu Bhangnani said "It always is a pleasure to celebrate Christmas with kids around you. And to celebrate it with kids from Smile Foundation was absolutely amazing."
Arshd Warsi, who was also present for the celebration added saying "My wife and I were already associated with Smile Foundation for the Delhi Half Marathon 2010 and have seen the kind of work and effort that is put in by Smile for the education and health of these children. I personally feel it is the duty of each one of us to participate and fight for the right of children."
"This is a great experience for all of us to be amongst these kids. We are the privileged ones. This hits us hard on the face, the moment we look around. Yet very rarely do we get an opportunity to do anything for them. Meeting these guys was an opportunity for us to get a glimpse of how they are striving to fight life's crisis. Interacting with them, is certainly nothing much done, but has given us a feeling of immense joy and pride. We would love to do more" said actor Ritesh Deshmukh.
All the children were very happy to meet such big stars who they otherwise get to see only on the silver screen. It was a great opportunity for them to spend such quality time with the stars. It is also a great gesture on the part of all the celebs as they helped spreading some smiles and cheer among small children on the eve of Christmas.
