About the organisation
Each One Teach One Charitable Foundation is a development organization established in 1983 aims at creating opportunities for the underprivileged children in rural and urban India. Their mission is to provide the underprivileged children with an opportunity to discover their inbuilt potential, enabling them to take up responsibilities and challenges in life. They envision to enrich the intellectual abilities of 40,000 children by 2014 in the urban slums and rural India while strengthening their emotional and physical abilities.
Association with Smile Foundation
Each One Teach One Charitable Foundation, in association with Smile Foundation, runs Smile Twin –e – Learning Programme. The programme is designed to increase the employability prospects of underprivileged adolescents by equipping them in marketable skills like English and Computer. This helps them get employment in service sectors and particularly retail outlets, BPO’s etc. Besides necessary orientation, the job oriented Smile Twin e-Learning Programme trains these young boys and girls in soft skills, basic management including retail and sales, personality development, career opportunities & counseling, team work and leadership qualities. These students are also sensitised about the gender issues, reproductive and sexual health issues and diseases like HIV/AIDS.
