Smile Foundation is a non-governmental organization based in New Delhi, India. It was established in 2002 and benefitting over 15,00,000 underprivileged children, youth, women and their families every year, through 400 live welfare projects on subjects such as education, healthcare, youth employability and women empowerment, across 25 states of India. Adopting a life cycle approach to development, Smile Foundation focuses its interventions on children, their families and the community.

Role – Reporting to and working closely with the Head – Corporate Partnerships & Alliances, s/he will be responsible for leading marketing/campaign/events oriented fundraising from the corporate sector.

As part of a successful team he/she will play a significant role in the growth and development of the organisation and an important part in developing a strong approach on fundraising from the marketing & HR budgets.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Devise, develop, maintain and implement a successful income generation strategy from the marketing & HR budgets of corporate
  • Ability to design & implement innovative fundraising events, cause marketing campaigns, employee engagement activities (focused on fundraising) and similar other activities
  • Build new relationships with major corporate and brands, specially with marketing heads, brand heads & HR heads for long term support∙ Nurture and manage key supporter relationships in order to maximize their long-term contribution to the organization.
  • Account handling: ensuring major corporate donors are content with their contribution and are kept informed of progress and milestones
  • Generating leads through extensive research and networking
  • Budgeting, planning and ensuring high ROI events, campaigns and partnerships

Desired profile of the candidate:

  • A thorogh business development professional preferably from a service brand ∙ Strong networking with brand heads, marketing heads & HR heads/ CXO connect & KOL handling
  • Extensive knowledge on marketing & HR budgets, social campaigns, employee engagement activities of corporate
  • Experience of sponsorship based activities/events
  • Exposure in working with various marketing professionals in corporate PR, Media & advertising industries.
  • He/She should be adept at people management, building long-term relationships with potential donors or volunteers and persuasively explaining their charity’s cause. ∙ Ability to manage budgets and hit fundraising targets
  • Should have an interest in, and commitment to, the cause he/she is raising funds for is essential
