This makes them vulnerable and puts them at risk of working donor-driven. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smilefoundationindia.org\/ctgi\/\">Change the Game India (CtGI)<\/a>, the capacity development programme of Smile Foundation, along with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.changethegameacademy.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Change the Game Academy (CtGA)<\/a>, aims to end this dependency by supporting autonomous local organisations to strengthen their fundraising capacity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raising domestic resources not only enhances financial sustainability, but it also increases community engagement, local ownership and legitimacy of organisations. Additionally, CtGI also trains organisations to mobilise support from like-minded organizations including governments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure sustainability, CtGI is offering training on two main themes namely; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.changethegameacademy.org\/module\/why-raise-funds-and-mobilise-support-locally\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Local Fundraising (LFR)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.changethegameacademy.org\/about\/about-mobilising-support\/#:~:text=Mobilising%20support%2C%20or%20inviting%20governments,of%20any%20form%20of%20violence.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mobilizing Support (MS)<\/a>. Change the Game India offers e-learning, in-person classroom courses and individual coaching, by building their capacities, capabilities,\u00a0resilience and future readiness, through Smile\u2019s s civic driven approach model.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Capacity Development &amp; Mentoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CtGI believes in <strong>capacity development &amp; mentoring<\/strong> of these grassroots organisations to achieve self-reliance and self-sustainability. This in turn enabling them to address the needs of the civil society. Through international trainings Smile Foundation has trained 171 participants from 99 organisations located in 20 countries from across 4 continents.
