About Sai Charitable Society
Sai Charitable Society (SCS) is a non-profit organisation setup on November 12, 2002, by a group of like-minded professionals from different walks of life pledged to raise the standard of living of the needy living in the urban slums and rural areas. The Chief Functionary and the President of the society is Mr. Deepak Sharma whose vision is to work for the upliftment of the underprivileged mass both in rural and urban areas.

SCS also works for the senior citizens of the society through its recreation centre for senior citizens. The recreation centre is being run in association with Department of Social Welfare, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Stories of Hope
Amit, Sarika and Deepa were very needy adolescents and had completed their twelfth Grade from the Government Senior Secondary school of the nearby area. Deepa was a graduate in Arts stream and had a very poor family background. Both the students joined the SteP with hopes that they would earn a decent living after the course is complete. That happened too and Amit and Sarika were placed at Cotton County and Deepa was placed at CIPLA and at present is working with Zunison Pharma Ltd. This came as a fresh breather for their families and they are earning good money now and supporting their families.
