I am sure you will have
noticed the changed look of our quarterly newsletter. We decided
to make this change considering the galloping speed that Smile Foundation
is moving ahead with. As every new day begins, new developments
be it partnerships, projects, achievements or infrastructure, are
taking place. Our television campaign Choone Do Aasman has won the
Asia Pacific Child Rights Award 2010 and the INB Award 2010. I am
Kalam – the feature film produced by us has won the Lucas
Award and the Don Quijote Prize for the best feature film.
With these prestigious
awards we have been able to take ourselves to platforms where other
development organizations have never reached; we are reaching out
to more number of beneficiaries; we are nurturing our human capital
with continuous training programmes; and last but not the least
we are doing things more innovatively. And with the objective of
bringing them all to you in an interesting manner, we decided to
give you what you are now holding in your hands.
Hoping that this development will be appreciated by all of you,
on behalf of Smile Foundation, I assure you this will become better
with every next issue. I also request you to share with us your
feedback regarding this new look and configuration.
