Gulshan's bad man with a good heart
The Times of India (25 November 2010)

Bollywood's baddie Gulshan Grover has been doing some very good deeds these days. It all started with giving his nod to starring in I Am Kalam, a film inspired by the life of former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

And Grover is very proud of his association, "It's for the first time that an NGO has gone for a feature film format, rather than a documentary, to spread the message of encouraging child education," says the actor. Grover, who plays a dhaba owner, is the protagonist alongside a child actor. "Shot in Bikaner, Rajasthan, the film doesn't give an 'in your face' message.

And people are getting to see me in a different light, as I have some tender and romantic scenes with a French actress," he shares. So far, screened at over 16 film festivals the world over, the movie has been garnering a lot of critical acclaim and some awards too.
