Children under Computer Literacy Programme

Xansa, one of the leading outsourcing and Technology Company, joined hands with Smile Foundation and became associated with its Socially Responsible Corporate Club.

Xansa contributed 14 personal computers for Computer Literacy Programme focusing on children from under-privileged sections- the prime target under community development project undertaken by Smile Foundation along with one of its partners NOW [New Opportunity for Women] in Delhi. The Xansa computers have added a distinct edge to Computer Literacy Programme provided to 60 adolescent girls under the ambit of Vocational Training.

The project aims to establish a low cost scalable/holistic model for providing individualized, socially responsive and economically gainful skills training for out of school adolescents. Such training and skills will be a great support to enable adolescent youths to develop their own capacity & livelihood conditions.

The initiative was a step ahead taken together by Xansa & Smile Foundation to provide further fillip to community development programmes.

Smile Foundation and Xansa has come forward with an Inter-Corporate Cricket Tournament called “SMILE-XANSA 20-20 Corporate Cricket Tournament: Play for a Cause” in which 16 corporate teams participated for a noble cause – to support 2000 street children across the capital of India. The participating organizations include Xansa, Ericssion, Citi Financial, Deutsche Bank, Reebok, Canon, Bank of America, HP, Airtel, Opto Group, Verint, TCL, GE Money, Indian Air Force, IBM Daksh and Ginni Filaments.
